Hey guys,

Interested in seeing everyone's bets. If you make good ones share some good stories. I've been running a book on a site for 2 weeks now. It's going great. Wish it was legal tho haha.

I'm not sure what "running a book" means, but I don't understand the ethical implications of privately betting. Is it that one does not have the authority to decide when and when not to wager his earned money, or is it for the safety of the general public that this rule is in place. Or are there legal implications without an ethical basis in that the income is untaxed?

My first time ever gambling, I made $150 bucks on slots, played away another 50 then walked away. I still have my first hundy that I won in a casino.

It means I use a site that has vegas' lines on it and people places bets with me based on their odds....

Denver -8 yesterday and Patriots -7 vs the Steelers were two of the biggest locks of the year it looks like. People bet those games big.

the company I used to work for was run by Jewish people and they didn't give a shit how much we spent at Home Depot because they'd get these Home Depot gift cards out of the air somehow

we were all pretty sure they were a company laundering money for the jewish mafia

im getting that feeling from philly, too

you can buy gift cards in bulk from Costco for less than their dollar value

like 5 $25 gift cards to Chili's for $100 or some random shit like that

was it housing contractors? housing contractors often ask the home owners for home depot gift cards to track how much is spent and the owner can see where their money went to lol

nope banks or home depot themselves

foreclosed homes

and they weren't a big company. just this little hole in the wall office and there was nothing in there. I went there one time to pick up my check before my direct deposit was set up and there was just empty desks in a large open room and an office in the back with the door closed

my brother was/is a dick and would just buy random tools he needed because they just didn't check. a receipt is literally emailed to them everytime we check out at the pro desk.... and i never took advantage of it

lol no jewish mafia....this is strictly to boost the fund for an engagement ring.

I do venture into a lot of obscure things. I'm an accountant, but do real estate (rentals and flips) on the side, invested in a marijuana grow in Colorado (may be moving out there if I can get this second one up and running), and now doing the sports betting thing, but this is only until approx. May '17 for the above reason.
