  1. http://picknotebook.com/blog/best-laptop-for-streaming/

Go about halfway down the page - the top half is the guy trying to explain the difference from video streaming to actual streaming.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...G3IIQJFYIN3XBM

Above link is a for a laptop $729 - I tried to find it on Overstock but it was not available there.
  2. If you had some free time could you help me or pick out for me a good laptop to stream with?

I know I've kicked around the idea here for like a year, but I am ready now and the laptops i had picked out are already out of date.

I'm looking for something on overstock.com

    under $500

To play and stream games on steam, as well as hook up web cam to stream arcade games and capture card games on consoles.
  3. The first 20 episodes are just awful. Watch the first two movies, then jump straight to episode 28. The DUB is at episode 31 or 32 I believe, with a new one airing each week. The sub is at 109, and the manga is at chapter 28.

IF you want links let me know.
  4. no, but i should. I watched maybe the first 20 episodes
  5. Are you watching Dragon Ball Super? Sub, Dub, Manga?
  6. der riese is where it's at
  7. I do not, and I never even got far in the first Zombie arena.
  8. do you have WaW for 360? wanna play zombies?
  9. Yeah, and an Xbone.

I got an Xbone simply for MCC, and they fucked me.
  10. do you still have a 360?
  11. Miss playing Shooters for hours on end.

We do Player Unknown Battlegrounds on PC, but it just isn't the same. I haven't played a game in years where I have the same level of dominance I had in H3 / CoD4 / MW2
  12. oh hahaha

    i miss XBL.
  13. That was your XBL icon for multiple years lol
  14. overwatch/babadook crossover?
  15. No worries homie.
  16. you rule bro, thank you
  17. 4/5 - Slots: ExpressCard/34, Integrated Smart Card Reader, SD slot | Could come in handy, could not - Matters how you're going to use the SD card slot
3/5 - Ports: 2 (two) USB 2.0, 1 (one) eSATA/USB 2.0 combo, VGA, DisplayPort, stereo headphone/mic combo jack, docking connector, RJ-45, RJ-11 | The USB 2.0 is may slow down your stream, 2.0 isn't bad but it isn't great either.
3/5 -Laptop Battery : 6-cell Lithium ion | Buy an extra battery just in case, and keep in mind that with Lithium batteries you have to train them | So let it die 99% of the way then recharge it whilst the device is off, rinse and repeat at least 10 times after first purchase.
  18. Meh - Optical drive: DVD-RW Drive | Who cares, at least you can write to disks.
1/5 - Graphics: Integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000 | This may end up being your bottleneck. I am not sure how this will effect your stream if your pulling video from another device. I believe your GPU will still need to process the information but the weaker GPU you have the more strain on your processor you will receive.
2/5 - Audio: Integrated HD Audio | External sound card might be on order, you'll want to see how it sounds for your viewers before deciding.
3/5 - Display Screen Size: 12.5 inches | Decently sized screen - You probably will not be looking at it much
4/5 - Display Type: LED-backlit HD | What is expected
2/5 - Display Resolutions: 1366 x 768 | Not sure if this will effect your stream ratio, most older games at even lower resolutions so I am unsure of how work out
4/5 - Networking: Integrated Gigabit Ethernet | As is expected
  19. Look back on the CPU - Here are the specs

This HP EliteBook 2560P Notebook PC comes with an 2.7GHz Intel Core i7-2620M Processor, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 128GB Solid State Drive, 12.5-inch HD display, Wi-Fi, DVD-RW Optical Drive, and Microsoft Windows 10 Professional (64-bit) Operating System.

4.5/5 - Operating system: Microsoft Windows 10 Professional (64-bit) | You could have Ultimate but that has a lot of stuff you do not need, but some that is nice to have.
3/5 - Processor: Intel Core i7-2620M 2.7GHz | Overall a fine processor but may be straining
4/5 - Memory: 8192MB DDR3 Memory | 8GB is just fine, however Win 10 will probably take 3 to 4 of that, not leaving you with much.
2/5 - Hard drive: 128GB SSD | You may want to upgrade this, 128GB is not what you will have with the OS installed (probably around 80 or less)
  20. Just what I thought the OBS guide would be, it is. It is fairly straight forward but to maximize your stream quality you will need to do some research about your actual download / upload then see what the best settings you can do with that based on your processor, ram, and GPU.

The laptop looks good but I am unsure of the real strains of what streaming puts on a processor. With your processor only being a 2.7GHz there might be some occasional lag based on what you are playing.
-- If you're going to play the kind of games I think you're going to play then I cannot imagine any immense strain. I am giving you a stamp of approval on this one.

    As for the connection cables....
I really have no idea. I would join some streamer's lobby and ask about what cables / devices they use to stream.
  21. Your sig is going to end up giving me nightmares.
  22. Rank 185 right now. I played at release, practically nonstop. Then just returned about a week ago. I am completely f2p.
  23. Haven't really played in a while. My buddies is RIDICULOUS. They are both great games. The only 2 on my phone
