Fuck you :(
And the sano thread
Victory.
Naturally, I'm here.
Josh Jackson master thread. Should be a really fun year for all posters in this thread (KU and Duke fans).
Fastest 40
I'm here.
I can't vm Manon on here? How terrible.
And I can't vm Gypsy. Damn it all.
This thread will have to serve as our vm wall then.
Oddly I can post on my own vm wall, though.
I can seemingly vm myself though, so that's something! Edit: Manon you ninja mofo.
I think KU will add Thornton, not sure on anyone else. But we know Self will use the scholarships. Should be fun since next years roster and rotation is basically set anyway.
Ya I can't wait. This is the best backcourt we've had in a long time imo. Maybe since 08.
There is no doubt. Jackson is the best guard prospect Self has had (if you count Wiggs as a wing). The things is even though Jackson is maybe a shade below Wiggs overall he is an amazing passer and has a much better team around him (Mason/Graham v Tharpe? LOL).
I'm setting the O/U on how many times we hear that Jackson is older than Svi this season in game broadcasts at 40.5.
Probably more. Brent and Fran always have the same things to say every game. Vick as a 5th option isn't bad either.
Absolutely. JR/SR Vick would start on the 2012 team (over Releford). I love Releford though.
I love Mason, but a backcourt of Graham, Svi, and Jackson is going to be really fun to watch when it happens. I hope Svi has a big season, he deserves it.
What's cool about this backcourt, too, is that they can be really good defensively. They all can guard.
I typically don't like Izzo but...

I hope you get a real coach soon.
I'm a firm believer that if we had a better coach with Qualls-Portis team it would have been a different year.
The potential was there.
Yeah, I saw enough of him at Missouri to not be a big fan. Decent recruiter, but poor in-game coach and I think the style is a negative.
Delayed response to this.. I know we all grew use to things working on the old forums... might have just forgotten things. You need to be friends to be able to write on each others VM.. carry on with other sports things (yeah I know these were from a week ago) sorry
Thanks for the info.
Duke has to be the runaway favourite going in to next year.
Duke is going to be scary good. Not excited for that at all.
What will Duke's starting 5 be, KB? Jackson, Allen, Tatum, Jefferson, Giles? Or will Kennard start?
Yes, Duke will indeed be loaded next season. Duke/KU should be fun to start the season. I honestly think we will be watching the two best backcourts in the country in that game.
I think Kennard comes off the bench. He was only starting last season because of Jefferson's injury and K having to go to smaller lineups. He'll be amazing as a bench scorer though, and he could play just as many minutes as Giles until he gets completely healthy and comfortable.
If Giles is healthy he's playing 32+ mpg imo. Very special player.
I'm just excited for the matchups in that game. Frank/Frank Graham/Allen Jackson/Tatum Bragg/Giles.
I wish UGA basketball was relevant.
You could always become a Kansas Jayhawks fan.
I am a closet KU fan by virtue of you two nerds.
Good. We're going to be pretty solid this season.
Josh Jackson for president.
I think Newman being at KU will be better for KU than it will be for Newman.
It will go both ways. He can't play this season but he can participate in practices which means he'll get to play against Mason, Graham, Jackson, Svi, Vick, which should be beneficial to everyone involved. And since KU will lose Mason and Jackson at minimum in the backcourt after this season, we're going to need him a lot as a player in 17-18.
I just don't see him being an NBA talent or wanted post his KU days. I think it's likely he rides out his college ball career with KU instead of declaring. (In reference to Newman)
Nah he's only playing one year at KU and then declaring for the draft from what I understand. Not sure how he's going to do in the pros but it's his decision.
That's my understanding as well but I don't think it'll happen. 2018 draft class is gonna be loaded.
