I SAW ZEUS LIKE 1-2 MONTHS AGO!
Actually pretty sure it was somewhere in the last 2 weeks of the game. You also forgot WORKER AND LORD SHINNY!
Boooo. Hisssssss.
It was a matter of time before we made our thread too :p
Wasn't Lord Shinok a secondary name? I always liked him and we got along really well, but I thought I found out he was a secondary right around the time he left. Why did he leave, again?
Worker and I didn't speak much but his company was always welcome!
Ah, thinking about all the memories in clans. I remember when I left AK and NJ picked me up. I remember when Bottle was freaking out because he was going to offer me leadership, but someone told him I had another account in AK and was going to leave NJ. (I never found out who told him that!) I remember trying to understand ZEUS' broken English (<3). I remember hanging out with bullcat0 on Army all the time and playing Resistance with him on the PS3.
I wish we had archived those forums. :( AFO, you should get in touch with whoever paid for the forums and see if they downloaded a copy of it before it expired.
If anything we can start a new netcave
Yeah, if we get a beneficiary who doesn't mind paying for it. I don't have the dough to host a forum/website right now. It would be pointless, though, I think, only serving to preserve memories directly in place. I just want the download file from the old netcave. :P
Yeah, or fuck it a make a free one lol.
Is this (going to be) some kind of new porn site? :p
Boooooo. Hisssssssssssssss.
Half the people who posted here are from SI...
... now we're the majority... I feel dirty now.
It just shows how much you all wish you joined NJ before TAO Went down.
I think thats news too everyone...
You guys act like I couldn't know something you don't know. It's kind of insulting. :P
lord shinok wasn't an alt
SI > noobjak ;)
I heard elim is an alt :o
<<Hulky
Thats actually impossible because I'm Hulky
Liar, you're wizzy.
I have been in noobjak. When NON rules applied to every singel member. You couldn't even take a dump if Twelve or Omega didn't give you a permission for it. I still lurked around tho. :)
I had two or three alts in netjak the most played ones were both GL/Rev accounts Westren and Mad-Hatter. I know of at least one player that got banned from netjak for being me but wasn't lol. This would have been when netjak.com had a forum on the site, before netjak-tao.com or whatever the new one was. Whoever it was supposedly had my IP address if I think of it hard enough I can probably remember the name. I remember being an alt in the forum and watching the drama unfold of him getting banned for being me (and wasn't) while I, an alt of me, watched. I was spying for KoTR and our ally SI at the time.
Haha!
I had accounts in CG/Jokers Wild (and Wolf Clan in Legends) while I was in nj. I wasn't even spying or anything. I was just hanging around and talking to guys like carlos22 who was always fun to talk to. Had to hide and seek tho so I wouldn't get kicked from nj. :)
haha, Hulky was everywhere!!
Netjak or Nothing was only strict in the early days. I don't remember Twelve or anyone being too strict about that beyond 2004-2005. It was only if you were a leader or wanted to be considered for leadership or the NJ12, as far as I remember.
Netjak Strong! Miss the good ole days
Well, I was just a simple member and I remember having a long talk back in a day with Search (I think it was him) in banff about why I wasn't in nj (some randome guy was sponsoring me - my first gold ever - and wanted me to be in his clan) even tho I was in Legends. It ended with me joining banff clan too. It was around 2004 or 05.
I think one of the reasons why Shin left and created Judgement was also too strick rules. Not sure about it tho since I wasn't that active at the time. You can refresh my memory if you know the exact story.
People say that, but there really weren't strict rules. There was NON for leaders and the NJ 12, but that wasn't really enforced to the average player. Hell, SI had this annoying recruitment process that IMO was pretty restrictive on leadership. I think 12 did a good job of letting leaders lead clans on their respective servers. And having faith that they'd invite worthy players, instead of requiring multiple leaders to track down a player. Y'alls recruitment process is the reason I didn't join. I actually wanted to join SI originally since your name was pretty bad ass. But it was too much of a pain in the ass to get invited. I got trashed by Roody Poo using default and got an invite to NJ. Lol.
When I was main SI leader (in Legends mostly) you didn't have to be super good and talented. Attitude was the main thing for me because skills you could train. At least to decent level. But if you were for example Rahan and called everyone a jew when you were losing, you just didn't get in. Didn't matter how damn good you were.
Those test games were mainly just to judge new possible recruit's attitude and if he was patience enough to wait and play few games with recruiters, me as a leader I knew I'm going to get a pretty good and loyal member. But if he was to say that he didn't want to wait for that long then he probably would of not stayed for long anyway. Maybe the rules were strick before but not anymore when I joined. And KAP got in, so it couldn't be too strick before either. :p
