Taking like Jordan Howard #1 would be similar to Doug Martin back when IROK did it I think. Like the rookie that had stupid good numbers, but has no team around them.

That's true, but Martin got hurt. The team around him probably had something to do with that, but you still can't predict it. Martin rushed for 1,400 yds and 11 TDs then missed 12 games the next year. That's fucked but it happens.
Martin wasn't a horrible gamble is my point. I think picking Howard 1st overall would be quite a bit worse.

Adrian Peterson was #1 in fantasy points in 2012 by a long shot. He smoked everyone.
#2 was Doug Martin. It was what it was.

Yes, Howard looked great. We all saw him. Martin had 12 total TDs his rookie year and almost 2,000 total yards? He was also a 1st rounder and Howard went in the 5th. Not saying that means more than it does, just saying.

I know Tampa completely shit the bed after Martin's rookie year and didn't start getting better until they drafted Winston, but I thought that was a surprise. I thought they'd at least be an average team that could run the ball, and I thought Martin was a rising star. It's not like they had a passing game.
Obviously that didn't happen, but I have even less faith in Chicago right now. I think Howard gets his ass handed to him this year.
