Maybe if they don't lose a game with him I can see it. But at this point he's won them 4 games. They won 3 without him. That to me says he is clearly not the most valuable player in the league this year
If you only play 12 games in a season, I don't see how you can be a top 3 candidate after just 4 games. He is playing lights out no doubt, but this MVP candidacy is just media sensationalism
Can't be the NFL without riding his cock. And no more PFM to challenge him for any award.
I definitely wouldn't give it to Brady if the season ended today. That's ridiculous. But 8 weeks from now which AFC player do you think will have separated himself from the others? If we're talking QBs then Carr is on the best path right now. Do you see any skill position players having an MVP season? Any defenders?
Of course I know it's early but the question got me thinking. My hope would be that Carr and the Raiders continue their success and he gets it. If not, Brady might be the obvious choice by seasons end, unfortunately.
Definitely should be Carr or Ryan
Hugh I just think it's too early for his MVP case to hold any weight. Obviously at the end of the season he will be there. But I think Matt Ryan has a very large lead
