Ravens kicked the Pats ass last night! You know what that means?!?

It means Pats will beat them in the playoffs by like 14.

That was a fantastic response Hugh. I'm picking my girlfriend up at the airport and am in a mad dash to play hide the pickle. I promise it will get a proper response.

Sounds good. I guess I never really answered your direct question directly, so my answer is no. I do not think the NFL will be better off if they eliminated pads. If NASCAR drivers raced riding lawn mowers they would be safer, but not better off.
    Same thing to me.

I appreciate the passion, and the fact that he was probably so shitfaced he won’t remember, but damn.
Get a grip, man! He’d never make it as a Mariners fan.

I get really excited about sports, and I get bummed out when my team loses. But I don't think I've ever cried over a sporting event, even as a child. That has to be the alcohol crying, right?

Yes. I was near tears of joy when the Seahawks won the Super Bowl, and close to tears of rage when they lost it the next year, but I never actually shed tears. And honestly I wasn’t that close. Just very happy and very frustrated. But those were both the damn Superbowls!!
This game yesterday didn’t mean shit really. Yes, he was blind drunk I hope. Otherwise he’s going to have a hard time dealing with life.

I just feel rage over a loss, not sadness.

    I cried twice over sports.

1 - On purpose safety in Niners' - Ravens SB, costing me exact score call 100% everything correct, losing 8.6k, and instead walking away with around 900$

2 - Tracy Porter returning the TD 76 yards instead of just stopping so the Saints could take a knee, also costing me around 6k.

I've never bet on anything ever again, nor ever will.

I haven't cried over sports either but one time I got really depressed, more than other times. The game when the Giants were beating the Eagles 31-10 with about 8 minutes left in the game and we ended up losing to the walk off punt return by Desean Jackson. I went to bed at 9pm that night
