Weird pair of trades to see by the Bills. Trade the #1 WR Watson to the Rams, and then at the same time strike a deal to get Jordan Matthews from the Eagles.

Watkins is awesome but he missed significant playing time the last 2 seasons to injury. It still is a strange move, though.

I don't think people are acting like he's talentless. People are acting like he's old, which he is. If he was talentless there's no way he'd be on an NFL roster preparing for his 10th season. But that's a lot of mileage. McFadden is 30 years old, and no matter what he has left it's hard to imagine it's enough to carry Elliott's workload or even close. But I guess we'll see.
There are worse backups and situations, but it's tough to ask Cowboys fans to feel good about an old Darren McFadden when they just lost the rookie of the year.

with mcfadden i think you just have to worry about his injury risk. he's missed so many games in his career that he really doesn't have that many miles on the tires. it's just his injury risk that is significant.
