If I was on a roster I'd claim tf out of a superbowl. Lol.

Hugh
09-28-2017, 09:43 PM
Everyone knows you don’t think of QBs as Super Bowl champs unless they actually won a Super Bowl, as in by playing. Do you think of Tavaris Jackson or Bubby Brister as Super Bowl champs? Hell no.
Fucking film study? Please.

Let's put it this way: people don't really think of Superbowl champion when they think of Drew Bledsoe. Hell, that season was probably the biggest L of his life

BTW Chicago's receiving corps is fucking awful. Sure Glennon's bad, but these guys can hardly get open and it isn't helping

Better than Cleveland! Fuck yeah!!

-_-

I'm not sure which announcer it is for the Bengals game, but he is a breath of fresh air in terms of actually having a brain when it comes to Burfict and all the penalties he gets that no other player in the NFL would get called for. He just had another call on reputation alone. There's no escaping it. Kind of sad actually since 99% of the time he plays great, clean football.

How can special teams coaches convince or teach players to stop blocking in the back during returns? Is it even something they stress? When I played in high school the coaches drilled it into our heads constantly. I was a returner but we had very few illegal blocks on kicks or punts.
In the NFL it’s constant. Every game, usually more than once. How? Why? Not questionable or borderline either. Blatant. Players drilling other players right across their names.
It’s never really been addressed as a systemic problem and I’ve never heard a coach talk about it specifically. Someone should. I’d like to hear it.

1. Tom Brady, Somehow the Bills and Jets are competitive in the AFC East race right meow? Wat? This was supposed to be a 16-0 hype year.
3. Julio Jones, 18th in yards 0 TDs so far
6. Aaron Rodgers, out for year injured
7. Zeke Elliot, suspended
8. Odell Beckham, out for year injured
10. Matt Ryan, 13th in yards 6 TD 6 INT (Deshaun Watson is 15 TD 5 INT and wasn't the starter in the beginning)
11. Derek Carr (Khalil Mack #5 to a lesser extent), Raiders team struggles in general (last in AFC West) and Derek Carr back injury

Derek Carr just said God healed his broken back. Russell Wilson says God personally speaks to him.
I’ve heard similar stuff from so many QBs. Rivers, Brees, Manning, Dalton. Even Aaron Rogers gives all glory to God and he’s the most detailed and informative QB in the league during press conferences, as far as breaking down exactly what he saw or was thinking on specific plays.
Do you think all these guys are really hardcore evangelical Christians or more casual, like most people, and just saying what they think people want to hear?

bludhoundz
10-20-2017, 01:19 AM
Romo is a great commentator. He's funnier than any of the others, and he's very in touch with the pace of the game. He was able to quickly tell that the Raiders wouldn't get a play off before the 2 minute warning, and I've seen him call that stuff out constantly.

Derek Carr is definitely very religious. Youtube some of his Fresno State into marriage into Dallas videos and you will get more background if you are interested. Also the tattoo on his arm is a religious symbol. He tithes his contracts and the Carr Elite camp he and his brothers run has a religious undertone to the quarterbacking training.

10-22-2017, 04:14 PM
Statline of this particular game where the Browns are playing without Joe Thomas and not a single TD has been scored after nearly 5 quarters of football aside, are you saying Kessler’s numbers aren’t significantly better than Kizer’s? Because that’s what we’re saying. That Kessler is better than Kizer.

Hulky
10-22-2017, 04:26 PM
I'm saying it doesn't matter given they've already replaced Kessler. Kessler has limited arm strength, and doesn't play the manager role well enough to win with the Browns. There is no point in rolling Kessler out. That's why after starting most of last year, the Browns replaced him with Kizer. The Browns aren't winning regardless. Play Kizer for the year unless hurt, then draft Darnold. If Kizer was ass, dump him and have Darnold/Kessler.

The hangover is real. I thought Atlanta might beat the curse when they started 3-0, but no. There’s no shame in losing to the Patriots, but they looked so bad. 3rd straight loss and they look that shitty on Sunday night in the Super Bowl rematch? I mean if they can’t get up for this...

bludhoundz
10-23-2017, 04:23 PM
Yeah NYG had no offense. Gotta credit the Seattle D for being the real deal as usual. Their offense woke up when it mattered too. It was a hard fought game til the end, but the Giants D can't carry if the offense does absolutely nothing

Also Atlanta's offense is broken. They need to fire their OC, dude has no clue what he's doing. You don't run a jet sweep from the 1-inch line, ever.

he had 10 sacks in 2014? 35 in his career? He is going to a wicked stacked DL. Malik Jackson, Marcel Dareus, Calais Campbell is fucking sick with Yannick Ngagowe and Dante Fowler rushing, a nice trio of LBs in Myles Jack, Paul Posluzny, and Telvin Smith, plus two shut down corners in Jalen Ramsey and that guy from the Texans. The defense is fucking stacked. Plus Marcel played well for Doug Marrone in Buffalo, Doug Marone is the Jacksonville coach. If Bortles acts semi-confident and Fournette can stay healthy I coul see the Jags being a pretty hard playoff team to beat.

The officiating in this game is pretty terrible

Mark Ingram's fumbles are both costing me BIG time. In one of my fantasy leagues I have Brees, Ingram, and their kicker. Both fumbles are -4 points and I lose the chance at 6 or more points from scoring, which is potentially a 10+ point swing. real pissed cuz my opponent is putting up big numbers

I was wrong about one thing. Way wrong.
The Seahawks can’t run the football. Not at all. Not even a little. I thought they’d be able to get it going a little, be average maybe, but no. They stink. Wilson ran for 30 yards on 4 carries today. The rest of the backs totaled 3 yards on 17 carries.
But they’re winning, and I think they’ll keep winning. They just need to keep slinging it and making turnovers. Still say they win the NFC west outright.

Yeah they can win a conference with the Cardinals (who kind of suck this year, because of injuries), the 49'ers who have sucked since Harbough left, and the Rams who are like 2 years away from being good. That is like winning the NFC East a few years back, kind of pointless because you aren't going the distance.

Lol. Wow.
You said that Seattle winning the NFC West was not only easy, but ultimately pointless, because they can’t get to the Super Bowl anyway. Which at this point in the season, with the way things are shaping up in the NFC, is ridiculous.

Lol. Wow.
You said that Seattle winning the NFC West was not only easy, but ultimately pointless, because they can’t get to the Super Bowl anyway.

That is called an opinion. Disagreeing with it is okay. I thought someone your age would have at least learned this.

Which at this point in the season, with the way things are shaping up in the NFC, is ridiculous.

My apologies, meant to say Division.
Cardinals: Back Up QB, had to go hunting for a RB and there WRs have been awful. Does that make a good team?
49'ers: Have they finally started competing in games this season?
Rams: Have the Potential to be good, but this is not your year.

Which of those teams are going to take the division? Is that not logical?

Now you can continue denying you were being salty, or asking me if I know what salty means, but you’re just making yourself look more ridiculous.

Salty: The act of being upset, angry, or bitter as result of being made fun of or embarassed. Also a characteristic of a person who feels out of place or is feeling attacked

Of the two of us, you are being rather salty. I made an opinion about your team. Instead of attempting to make any case, you resorted to calling me salty.

I have nothing to be salty about. My Vikings despite using a back up QB for most of the season, losing their RB1 are still winning games. Do I think there is a chance they can win their conference, yes. Do I think they are going to win the Superbowl, no. Unless a QB returns, Keenum is great in filling in, but he isn't winning the big one. I ask you again, please tell me how my original post had any salt, and what I would have salt about?

So with that being said, learn what the words you type mean, come back when you are ready to discuss things, and grow the fuck up.

Hugh
10-29-2017, 11:25 PM

There is no pretending. I could not care less about the Seahawk, or the NFC West as a whole. I offered my opinion. Which you oddly took offense too (basically, you are being salty). Also I'm sick of the eagles worship.

Wentz didn't look great without Peters against the 49ers, who dak and zeke absolutely blew up.

If the eagles lose to Denver going into their bye(von miller + no peters?)and Dallas wins against kc in Dallas (back to back losses) and at Atlanta (just snapped a 3 game losing streak, barely, against the jets), then Dallas will be 6-3 going into the eagles matchup and they'll be 6-2.

We are strong where they are weak (our pass rush vs. Halobfhwiskabsuau Vaitai, beasley/witten in the middle of their defense that's missing hicks). Fuckin Orlando scandrick basically carried the defense outside of the line. Hopefully it starts a streak of good play from him like before he had his rash of injuries, and his nasty attitude spreads to the rest of the secondary. I think it'll be a good game

Seahawks just got a huge upgrade with Duane Brown, but I would still be rather surprised if they made it. That might change depending on how they look in the coming weeks.

Eagles look good, Zeke will be back in time, Falcons might even get it back together.

KBHoleN1
10-31-2017, 03:57 PM
Without Zeke, I'm not sure the Cowboys can make the playoffs. Next 3 weeks are tough, Chiefs, @Falcons, Eagles. That could be 3 Ls right there if the running game struggles. Chargers, Redskins, @Giants are obviously winnable. But let's say the Cowboys go 3-3 without Zeke, and are 7-6 when he comes back. Last 3 are @Raiders, Seahawks, @Eagles. Woof. And then you're hoping 10 wins is enough. And the Cowboys would lose head-to-head tiebreaker against Rams and Packers if we're fighting for a wildcard spot.

538 currently predicts the Cowboys to go 9-7, and that's just an ELO rating formula, has no way to incorporate the loss of Zeke. I know we like to talk about the Cowboys line and how anyone could run behind it, but Zeke is a special back, and there has to be some dropoff there. Maybe we run well enough against the Chiefs, but @Falcons will be tough, and the Eagles run defense is nasty. And the less the Cowboys run the ball, the more pressure it puts on our defense, and that's where things start to go bad for this team.

bludhoundz
10-31-2017, 04:13 PM
The Falcons are not a good football team. This reminds me of when they went 13-3 in 2012 or so and everyone expected them to be good again the next year but they weren't. Granted they were better last year than 2012 but their OC is downright atrocious and they still have issues on defense.

The Saints and Panthers are both better. New Orleans is winning that division in my eyes.

I don't see the Cowboys making it either. Their defense is still bad, even if the pass rush isn't. Dak is very good but none of his weapons are. Dez, Beasley, and Witten are all overrated at this point in time. Terrance Williams is just bad. Zeke is a beast but they might even miss the playoffs now that hes suspended again.

Philly is obviously the #1 NFC (prolly overall) contender at this point in time. The real difference between them and Seattle is I trust Wilson more with the game on the line, and I trust Seattle's defensive backs. Granted they have absolutely no run game so we will see. Its just a prediction.

bludhoundz
10-31-2017, 04:22 PM
To be fair its all speculation. Falcons have the pieces to be good, Boys weapons may be overrated but still often win 1 on 1s, and Philly is the best team right now

KBHoleN1
10-31-2017, 05:27 PM
Yeah, not as much as I would have thought the Panthers could get for him. I don't know much about how NFL contracts/salary caps work, but looking at his deal his cap hit was going to jump from 2.5M to 8.5M next year (the last year of his deal). So I guess the Panthers make some room and dump a player they weren't planning on signing to a long-term extension. Injury concerns and not quite the breakout player people thought he could be - I guess they just felt like it would take too much money to lock him up based on potential and they didn't want to overpay him, so trade him now and get what you can? Someone else correct me if this is dumb.

That’s because he’s 6’5” 245 lbs. He’s a tight end you can line up wide. I’ve seen him double teamed by Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman and he smoked them both.
I know he’s had issues with conditioning and already missed a season injured, but at 26, 1st round pick 3 years ago and a legit red zone threat I don’t think a 3rd and 7th is overpaying at all. He could be a beast in Buffalo.

bludhoundz
11-01-2017, 08:43 AM
Yeah but as KB mentioned hes earning a fair amount in 2018 and his future is still uncertain without a long term contract. Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

What was Wenger thinking sending Walcott on that early?

They had two Kelvin Benjamins on the roster. Devin Funchess fills the exact same role so they traded Benjamin away to the highest bidder. Pretty plain to see imo.

Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

The officiating was especially terrible.

Damn, I was actually watching Texans game this year to watch Deshaun. He was really making the most of his opportunity, I feel so bad for him right now.

The Browns just brain farted this deal went the Bengals? They had a deal inked for AJ McCarron and forgot to submit it to the league in time?
The dumb never ends with that team.

Sanosuke

This would be over already of Elliott just took the suspension. Cowboys would probably be at the same record they are now with a fresh Zeke for a playoff push. Instead, ambiguity and uncertainty has fucked the cowboys entire season this year.

I'm going to laugh hysterically if he keeps this up then ends up suspended for the playoffs

which is kind of what it looks like at this point

he's playing with fire trying to keep delaying it

Hugh

It’s important to remember that Elliott is retarded.
