Not sure who Pyriphlegethon is, but could that person try opening the group? I can't join since the group settings only allow people to join before the first game was played (last Thursday).
In other news, my fantasy team @ work smashed this week. Brees, Cooks, Green, and Minnesota D all went crazy for me (10 person draft). Hoping they continue to score 25+ each...
Different situations imo but I agree. Woof city. There was a small scenewhere the MNF crew was highlighting how many tacklers were at gurley before he got to the line of scrimmage every time. Fighting off 3-4 dudes is difficult for any RB regardless of talent. Elliot has an OLine that is specifically built for RB success. The Rams simply blow.
How does Brandon Marshall drop that? He looked it in, had both hands on it. Jesus. Whenever I see pros drop easy ones like that I just can't believe it, and Marshall seems to do it a lot.
I hope Rex Ryan gets fired before the season ends and never gets another head coaching job. The guy is a douchebag and a toolbag and a dickhead and absolutely doesn't get it.
Sloppy jalopy.
Also I have no idea what a catch is anymore.
Peters is self-combusting this year. FFFFFFFf
What is a catch?
But a miserable little pile of rule book pages.
Browns, please....
Jason Garrett is a professional momentum annihilator. Did we just drive the length of the field and score a TD to retake the lead? Are there 20 minutes left in a low-ish scoring game (20-17)? Does the Redskins special teams look prepared for an onside kick attempt? Let's try one anyway and not even get the ball 10 yards. Redskins kick a field goal, then force a fumble that leads to a field goal, then force the first 3-and-out of the game. Fantastic decision-making from JG. Sometimes being unpredictable is just being stupid because you're bored with winning football.
Not that impressed with Osweiler. #bdogpost
Oh and about earlier, the non-catch calls actually both favoured the Chiefs. Both were shitty calls though imo.
#wrproblems
Refs fuck us over in every aspect of the game once again to hand the Steelers a win. Same story, different season. Tomlin must suck some seriously good dick to consistently have one-sided officiating go his way every year.
"These are the strides from Jameis Winston we wanted to see."
"Jameis Winston is finally looking like a premier quarterback in the league."
"This is just the start to a breakout year for Winston."
Week 1 comments. Can't wait for Week 2's.
Week one is overreaction week. I think I took the Jags in pick em lmao.
Yeah, because you always blame the officials when you lose.
always
ps jeff fisher is so bad how does he still have a job lol
So I know Denver's defense is good (duh) but Andrew Luck.....wooooooooof
Seahawks are fucking ridiculous. We go full retard every time we play the Rams. Our offense goes entire quarters without passing. Jimmy Graham is a non factor, a complete waste of talent and money. We should beat them my 20 points.
Whatever. It's fucking stupid.
predicted the rams would win that one. seattle always seems to play down to their level one game per year and lose a game that has a score of like 15 points.
they'll bounce back, but they need to stop forcing the ball to rawls. he didn't look explosive at all to me and i think michael looked much better. he really should be seeing the majority of the workload in the next game.
That's just blatantly false. You can't blame the refs when they don't blow the game. All games are going to have an occasional bad call. It's to be expected. It's the consistent one-sided officiating like I saw today that deserves and will get a response from me. I don't know if the NFL goes back and watches games to check officiating, but if they do, those refs will have consequences for sure. Go watch the whole game before you say something stupid because I can tell you didn't watch it.
Last year, Denver was the team nobody wanted to acknowledge for the longest time because Peyton was shit. As soon as he leaves people start questioning how Denver will be without him. But really, it's the same team as last year. Good defense, good enough ground game, and as long as the offense doesn't put the team in a position to lose, they'll be in the game for the full 60 minutes. I think it's just such an old ideology in this current age of offensive juggernauts and the game being so QB-centric that nobody wants to acknowledge it until it's too late. At least this year they have the backings of a Super Bowl victory so they at least get some respect. Thing I love most about this Broncos team is they should always be in a position to win the game. Both games were very enjoyable to watch, and I love what I see from the team overall.
I hate Elway but he is smart af. And yeah odds are whoever is out there (Siemien or Lynch) will honestly be better than Peyton was last year.
I really hate how NFL coaches have this idea that they wanna rest their running backs after a big run. This is the dumbest part of running back by committee situations. The coach falls in love with the idea of the committee - always having fresh legs - but forgets that you need a guy to get into a groove. I get it if the guy is totally winded but if he's playing well why are you swapping him for another guy? It makes no sense to me. Ryan Mathews broke off a 35 yarder, looked fine, and then we see Sproles in for most of the rest of that series, including a goal line carry on 4th down. He's a tiny man and he's your goal line option? Jesus man, what is Doug Pederson smoking??? That 4th down penalty gave him a chance to right his wrong and he finally got it
I agree with your assessment.
In other news, the Bears a) suck and b) have half their team riding an injury cart.
I think you're right, too, blud. I also kind of hate seeing first and second year backs break off one decent run and then motion to the sideline that they need to come out. I see it constantly. It's like dude, that was your first good run all game and only your second consecutive play. You need a Gatorade already?
Sorry Pittsburgh fans - things aren't looking good for Big Ben.... Week 1 Eagles knock out RGIII. Week 2 Eagles knock out Cutler....
Well it's been a fun 1st two weeks for us Eagles fans. Happy Johnson is appealing the 10 game suspension since I'm going to this Sunday's game. I still can't see the Eagles winning more than 6 or if a bounce goes the right way 7 games.
Think big bro. SUPER BOWL!!!!!
I like that Wentz kid.
Is this the part where we get overly optimistic about rookies? Sterling Shepard is literally Jerry Rice
