Now that’s just weird.
Terrelle Pryor arrested after being stabbed. Didn't see full story, but looks like domestic dispute then she stabbed him after he fought her or something like that.
I’ll keep saying it, just because I like saying it.
NFL referees are the most inept and incompetent group of professionals that exist in any field. They are consistent at one thing and one thing only. Being fucking terrible at their job.
Bunch of fucking idiots.
But the pats lost yesterday so it is all good.
Go Hawks!
I never watch the weather on the news, but when I check the weather online it is almost always accurate or close. Like 95% of the time or more
I am not sure if any of you know who George Atkinson is, but George Atkinson is a Raider legend and also lives in my hometown. He has two twin sons that played football here and then they both went to Notre Dame, and then George Atkinson III was a fringe rosterable/practice squad RB for the Raiders and Browns for a couple years. Anyways the mother passed from Crohn's disease and schizophrenia a while ago, and then last year Josh (one of the twins) killed himself on Christmas. Today George (the other twin) just died, and I believe it was suicide although it hasnt been officially stated.

Fucking insanely sad. The two twins were the pride of my town a few years ago and their Granada photos are in the local wing stores and whatnot.
Why is the NFC always so good and the AFC sucks ass?
cowboys are comically bad
Cowboys have been one of the worst coached teams in the NFL for at least a decade.
How I feel watching the Cowboys.

I agree. I also think there's an issue at the ownership level. Like ok, he's the GM too basically and yes they drafted/signed/traded for a bunch of talented players. No denying it, the Cowboys roster is pretty well constructed. But who's the star of the Cowboys? It's not Dak, it's not Zeke. It's Jerry Jones. Him being too involved adds this whole additional layer of drama to the organization. Think about it, how often do they zoom in on him in the box compared to other owners? Then you hear about him in the locker room all the time, I've seen him on the fucking sideline during the middle of the game before. I think he came down there in the 4th quarter in a close game. Plus he's very outspoken in general and I think that just brings a lot of unnecessary attention and raises the pressure for everyone.
Culture starts at the top and trickles down. That team is always gonna have the spotlight on, so everything gets blown up. And its worse when things are actually happening as opposed to all being quiet.
All good points and true. One thing I always loved about the Seahawks was Paul Allen (RIP). He was the richest owner in the NFL and relatively speaking I don’t think it was close. Like Paul Allen literally owned a billion dollars worth of yachts. Just yachts alone. I heard once that The Octopus, the largest privately owned boat on earth, is worth like $500 million.
But he never gave one press conference. Paul Allen never wanted to be the face of the Seahawks. He just wanted to be a behind the scenes owner, and I know there are plenty of owners like that, but whenever I hear that egomaniac Jerry Jones talking bullshit on the mic it makes me glad he’s not the owner of my team.
Stan Kroenke was close if you go by husband + wife net worth. His wife is Ann Walton, and her father was the brother of Sam Walton of Walmart. They each have around 10bil I think.
Unpopular opinion but the seahawks aren't that good. They're the cowboys from 2018. They win a bunch of close games that historically are usually around .500. They'll be worse next year
In fact I'd argue they're not even as good as the cowboys this year. Worse in most meaningful stats. Wilson is just a wizard
Well we sure look like dogshit so far tonight.
Rams have been a problem for the Hawks for a while now. I'd be willing to bet that the pressure rate Russell Wilson has faced in his career vs the Rams is double that he faces on his average game out of all the other games in his career. For sure the Rams having a nasty d line and Hawks' pass protection game not being great has been a factor, but there's just some divisional beef thing here. The Rams just tend to win these games more than the Seahawks.
That said, I think Wilson has masked a lot of the team's deficiencies. I don't think their defense is actually that good. Unlike some of the other top contenders in the NFC like the 49ers and Saints. Though their defenses didn't show up today, they've been pretty strong all year. I think they're still good enough to make a run but I think their defense is going to need to step up and live on takeaways, like the '09 Saints or '10 Packers who had mid level defenses that just took the ball away a ton.
Yeah for sure. Our defense is somewhat opportunistic but I know they aren’t on the level of the Niners or Saints. The Seahawks had an elite defense for a long time. I know what one looks like. This ain’t it.
But the last couple of games they started playing better. Tonight was one of those rare games when we just couldn’t do shit on either side, and like you said that seems to happen against the Rams more often than not.
Just looked at Russell's splits vs all teams (just regular season). He has losing records against 3 of them. 1-2 vs Saints, 0-2 vs Chargers (weird), and 7-9 vs the Rams. 3-7 against the Rams over the last 5 seasons. So definitely some fuckery going on when compared to the Seahawks' dominance over the rest of the NFL (78-30-1 in Wilson's time in Seattle).
So wilson is now Aaron rodgers. Good enough to carry a meh team. Both of them have good ground games this year, which is why I think their teams are winning games. The packers aren't that good either
He’s certainly that level but I figured everyone knew that by now.
As far as Dallas goes they’ve put up impressive numbers against absolute shit teams all year, and by that I mean the entire NFC East. That division is a a dumpster fire.
The Cowboys don’t have a win over a team with a .500 or better record, and it’s week 14. Meanwhile the Seahawks are 10-3 in the toughest division in football. So Dallas might have some impressive numbers but I’d slow down on saying they’re a better team than Seattle.
I think we can all agree on one thing:
It is good to see New England lose.
For sure. It was interesting watching the game they lost to the Chiefs. It played out in a way you'd almost expect to go the other way. Like so many times I'd see other "elite" teams lose to the Patriots by trying every way possible and still fall up short in the end. We've seen it with teams like the Chiefs, Broncos, etc. But this time it was the Pats that you could see tried so hard to win and were just clawing back but couldn't do it.
Why can't the Texans stay good?
they've been drinking the same water as the cowboys
So I'm pretty sure nobody's surprised the Ravens whooped the Jets asses last night
But one thing that I think is really cool is the energy that Mark Ingram is bringing (best part is 2 mins in):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfQClY2VzO0
It's definitely kind of weird, he's acting kinda clownish in a way but he just feels like the hypeman for the team. I bet everyone on their team feeds off this and I think that's dope
Guys,
How am I suppose to feel about San Fran being good again? Should I hate them? Like them? Don't give two shits about them?
Hate them. It’s what you do.
Who is cowboy
Cowboys look great today and against a hot team that was rolling. Maybe they’re getting it together finally.
cant believe this bullshit jaguars 4th quarter comeback for the last game in Oakland
I just literally read a story about Antonio Brown accusing his ex girlfriend of using his credit card after they broke up.
Maybe cancel the fucking card you gave her, dipshit. It’s a phone call. How stupid is this guy?
Lol @ San Fran
Pretty sure Drew Brees has like a 90% chance to go berserk any time he plays on Monday Night Football
29/30, 300 yards, 4 tds. Breaks Peyton's all-time td record. Breaks the completion % record. Jesus man
Goat?
Congrats to Drew Brees on TD record
