It's the ginger QB, he can't be trusted.
If they lose to the Dolphins though, Mantis should give up on the season.
its the refs, duh
Dolphins uniforms are horrific.
Really, really bad. I turned on the game and couldn't figure out if these were even the right teams.
yes
You get all the points playa
Dolphins are butt.
Huge dino butt. At least Mantis doesn't have to abandon all hope yet.
But the refs screwed the Bengals. They should have had like 15000000000000 more points but the refs
Three reasons. Aside from Green, Dalton has nobody to reliably throw the ball to until Eifert gets back from injury. This is an especially big problem once we get inside the red zone since Eifert was always our go-to guy there (as evidenced by the 5 FGs last night). Second reason is our running game is currently hot garbage. Third reason is that Hue Jackson was a great fucking OC and without him we're struggling more on that side of the ball than we should. Marvin Lewis has always been a mediocre at best coach, but the people around him made him look better than he was. Those people are now head coaches elsewhere.
Only watched the first half, but the refs were fine. If you can't see how downright awful the refs were in the Steelers and Broncos games then you are truly a fucking idiot (you too, burnout).
Whoever told me that Jarvis Landry was good...go to hell.
Cut his ass this morning. Fuck him.
Every thursday day is god awful to watch
@wizzy: ban him.
Matt Hasselbeck is already a much better analyst than Trent Dilfer. How many 40 year old, white, bald ex QBs do we really need? Hasselbeck is better looking, he speaks better, and he was actually a good player. Dilfer sucked.
I'd fire Dilfer's ass. He should be a QB coach for a junior college anyway.
There are lots of people like Cheat in fantasy that overreact to one week.
He's good. He's just way too in love with his arm. I see him do shit all the time that he just doesn't need to, or flat out shouldn't.
How many times have you seen Luck bomb the ball 40 yards to the end zone to a receiver who is covered, or double covered? Not just in desperate situations or coming from behind late. 2nd or 3rd and medium in close games. He does it all the time. Luck's problem isn't that he's in a situation where he has to do it all himself. No QB is really.
It's that he thinks he has to do it all himself, or even wants to. That's what I see when he plays.
So far he has pretty much had one good season. I think the jury is still out. I agree that at times I tries to do too much, go deep too often etc...
So nice to see the Raiders being able to dominate in ST again. Been a long time since we've had a returner, but we've always had an elite punter and pretty good kicker.
EDIT: I make this fucking post after a beautiful coffin punt, 40+ yard return, and a redzone TD+XP... then Baltimore fucking uses Hester for a 60 yard return fml.
Crabtree very nice catch. Feeling pretty good about taking the Raiders in pick em.
What's up with the Lion's having no offense against the Bears? Is anyone watching that game?
I was so close to picking the Bills as my upset pick this week. Damn.
I watched that game. The Lions run game was awful and unable to get anything going on the ground, often losing yards. Stafford never got into a rhythm in the passing game, with most of the short passes being tackled right away, and anything downfield was contested / inaccurate throws. The O Line was losing the battle and there was pressure on him. 2 bad giveaways at poor times really cost them the game too, otherwise they would have had at least 1 more FG
EDIT:
Also the Bears played keep away with clock killing drives based on the run game (which was extremely effective) and a short passing game that played to Hoyer's strengths. This meant the Lions didn't have the ball as much as they would have wanted
How about Prescott and Elliott?
Oh, I forgot. They suck. Nevermind.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Hugh again.
Well shit.
So...if Romo gets healthy they play him...right.....right?
Hell of a game for Elliott. He's starting to play more to the potential that I knew he could in the NFL. Meanwhile, Gurley gains 33 yards on 19 carries. Looking at you Sano... Mr. running back university. ;)
How bad is this game going? An all-pro punter just did....THAT.
Anyone checking to make sure Gypsy is still alive?
I have no comment on Prescott, haven't had enough experience with him, but Elliott just ran on one of the worst teams on the league. Obviously its still an important NFL game, but I don't think it gives him any credence.
Great showing though and his most impressive performance for sure. Anybody to say otherwise is just being stubborn.
I definitely put SF in the bottom few teams though, by a longshot.
It pisses me off so much that refs throw flags for end zone dances. What do they think football is? Where do they think they are? Is the roar of 60,000 drunk fans and fireworks not a clue? Do they think it's a military funeral? A catholic mass? Why is it a penalty to celebrate a fucking touchdown?!?!
Fuck referees. They're all bitches, and so is Goodell.
#refconspiracy
;)
Goodell has to be the worst Commissioner in any major sport in recent history, right? of all time possibly?
how does he still have a fucking job
not to mention a job that pays him so fucking egregiously
