I would be stunned if he played 3 full years at KU. It would be amazing for KU though.
Collin Sexton is the 2017 guard I hope will end up at KU the most. He is really blowing up this summer so other big programs might get involved.
So Jeff Whitey got caught cheating by his hot ass gf.
So he bought her a ring and now they're getting married.
SMH
Jeff Withey, Spencer.
It's easy to forgive men who make a lot of money playing basketball.
I figured you and gyps would get a kick outta the story :P
I thought it was pretty funny.
Wtf
Giles had knee surgery today. Out at least 6 weeks. I have a bad feeling these knee injuries are going to linger for him. I'm starting to adjust my expectations downward for his playing time/production this year.
Oden II
SoonTM
Where is Manon? Melting down about a bad exhibition performance just wasn't the same without him.
Lol. Idk he's been MIA
That IU KU game was fantastic last night, or at least in spite of the litany of insane and insistent foul calls. Had to come here cause ya boys are who I think about when I think of KU. Sorry it turned the way it did for ya'll, but that was a great start to the season for our program.
Marez! Did that fantasy league scam us?
I wore that jayhawk football jersey for the game that's in my office gypsy. I'm never wearing it again because they lost.
I'm lit af.
49 fouls called in a 40 minute game. Why do they insist on ruining basketball? And this isn't salt, Kansas got screwed by more calls than Duke. It just sucks to watch a game that has to pause every 30 seconds for a foul call, often with little to no contact.
Grayson Allen 4-15. Unable to create his own shot even when Duke really, really needed him to score. Not sure why people think he's a POY candidate. He can be a great scorer when he's not being shutdown by a good defender. But Christ he looks bad at times. Jeter still looks bad to me. Had a couple of good blocks, but his rebounding technique is shit and he can't score. He got rejected by the rim because he tried to one hand it. How has he not progressed more than this? All that complaining aside, this team will be monstrous when Giles and Tatum and Bolden are playing. Definitely lacked presence in the paint in the second half once Amile got in foul trouble.
The refs will end up reverting after a bit....I HOPE. I agree the officiating was poor and hurt both sides. Josh was just working into a groove and his third and fourth fouls were suspicious. The tech he absolutely deserved and the 5th foul even if Kennard flopped (he did) was still a foul.
Jeter seems really soft. Bragg has the same problem.
Allen seems to struggle with length. Provided Giles and Tatum stay healthy in particular that just does so much for Duke. Better spacing, better depth etc...
It's clear to me that Duke is a FF team when healthy.
Duke babyyy
Love seeing Duke lose, but I wish they both could have lost. Didn't watch the game, but I agree that officiating is getting more and more ridiculous every year. It's basically becoming a no contact sport.
Jackson looked lethal during his little scoring spurt against Duke but also looked completely lost against Indiana.
Josh will be fine, the talent is there. The entire team got thrown into the gauntlet the first two games. I was legit thinking 0-2 start after the exhibitions. But now, while the upcoming schedule isn't K-Statian (check their schedule and the kenpom rankings LOL) it should but probably won't be 13 straight wins. So my hope is the team can use these games to gel and figure some stuff out.
Spoiler: Siena (KU's next opp) is ranked higher than any KSU non-con team that isn't Maryland (who isn't necessarily playing KSU).
Already did.
What?
Oh, ok. I don't feel bad for not understanding that
Josh Jackson is prettttty good at basketball. I need his highlights from tonight injected into my veins.

Ahhhhh yeah that's the stuff. Riiiiight into the bloodstream.
Otherworldly.
He is a basketball wizard. His feel for the game is one of the best I've ever seen for a kid this age.
Read.
He's just insane man. His court vision and awareness for someone his age is borderline obnoxious.
I really see him being a star in the NBA. If he fixes his shot the sky is the limit.
Fixing your shot while in the NBA is pretty easy so I wouldn't even be worried about that. See: Anthony Davis, Wiggins, Embiid, etc.
