Is it just me or does it seem like every year now that the NFC playoffs are more compelling? In the AFC we now have Oakland without their #1 QB and a team that's basically destined to be one-and-done as usual in Houston. It's also a lot of the same faces (4/6?) from last year with New England, Pittsburgh, KC, and Houston returning to the playoffs. NFC is way different, with the top 2 seeds from last year totally out of the picture, 2 new division winners in those spots, and some of the NFL's bigger storylines like the rookie-led Cowboys, Green Bay's crazy run (I think they're gonna beat Detroit man) since being 4-6, and the Giants free agency frenzy actually paying off

Zero chance Green Bay loses to Detroit. It sucks that a Dallas/Green Bay NFCCG is unlikely due to seeding.
Also, family was talking about Derek Carr which led to talking about David Carr. And while Derek is infitely better than David ever was David Carr will always be an inspiration to me. That man got sacked more times in a season than anyone ever and he always got back up. The balls it must have taken to get back under center when you know damn well that you'd be back on your ass under a 300+ lb defensive end in seven seconds.

I truly admire Hulky's optimism, but Oakland has the 28th ranked defense in the league and Carr is a legit MVP candidate. They've been winning shootouts all year. There's no overcoming this loss.
