Bills should sign Kaepernick.
Marshon Lattimore looked lost against Mike Evans, and Fitzmagic carved up the Saints defense for a record day. Nice. I didn't buy into the top 10 hype, but that was an atrocious performance by the Saints defense. Kamara is insanely good, though.
How much longer does Le'Veon Bell hold out?
Yeah i wasn't buying into the saints defense all that much. i mean i think they'll bounce back, they shouldnt be as bad as they looked, but Marshon Lattimore is overrated, dude is just good at getting away with holding and PI from what ive seen
leveon bell tweeted out that emoji after the steelers' game, as if they would have won with him
conner lit it up in bell's absence and they still lost. to me, that just means bell isn't that important to the team. isn't their record like 11-5 without him?
Gonna be a fun season for the Eagles. Team sucked and beat the Falcons. Giants lose, Cowboys looked like poo (as did Panthers), Redskins beat up on 2nd worst team in NFL.
this makes so much sense
1. "he's a distraction" solved by no one fucking follows or writes about the Bills
2. "josh allen is the future" but Peterman isn't helping, Kaepernick could be the now and is play style and physically more similar to Allen.
3. Kap + McCoy + Benjamin + Zay Jones could at least win a game. I don't think Peterman + allpros could.
sloppy game
I can't tell if Darnold is living up to #1 pick or if it's just the Lions....
Matt Patricia's list of mistakes to coach tomorrow is going to be fucking insane
Lions can't do anything right outside the very first play
edit: then Lions miss a FG and then Crowell goes 62 yards for a TD lol
Drew Lock is probably the favorite to be the first QB next year but kinda has major accuracy issues so this early in the season you cant really see who makes the adjustments necessary to be a top pick or NFL QB
Who does everyone like for tonight?
these teams are fun to watch when they play together
going with baltimore
Bengals
I'm not sure. I took Cincy. When I'm not sure I tend towards the team that has one of my fantasy players on it. I have Mixon so let's go Bengals.
Coin flip imo. Bengals are at home but Ravens got to rest some players in the second half of week one. They may be more fresh for a Thursday game so I'm picking them.
Also calling that I got the W in the pick'em last week. Manon is being given the nod on tiebreaker but I was unable to submit my tiebreaker points for Monday night (the website kept giving me an error over and over...) and I posted here 33-20 which is literally 1 point closer than what Manon guessed, but I also got the Rams' score exactly right. Dolphins hero pick ftw
AJ Green, I love you. I picked Ravens to win the game, and it's not over by a long shot. But 3 TDs in 4 drives for Green? Off to a good start in fantasy this week. Hopefully Ravens keep scoring and Bengals keep passing.
AJ with a hat trick already and the 2nd quarter just started. Insane.
Michael Irvin looks like a representative from the Emerald City.
My buddy runs a book and 75% bet ravens so i went with bengals lol hoping they hold on
good call.
I'm usually moreso on the Bengals train (well, to an extent. been my favorite team in the AFC North for a while) but after their recent downturn the past few years I guess I was off on this one. The whole primetime angle had me worried too. Thought the Ravens defense would be a lot better.
lol @ Michael Irvin saying the last "I trust you receiver" Flacco had was Boldin while announcing next to Steve Smith then standing up after realizing his mistake like Steve about to knock him out if he can reach his face. Then Smith destroying Irvin about how he is better than Irvin statistically outside of rings.
I know. Unreal. Michael Irvin talking directly out of his ass...again.
Smith was better than him, too.
Bengals have more wins than any team in the NFL.
Super Bowl champs.
I forget if I shared it here but I made a bold prediction for this year prior to the season. I can find the log if you need proof... since it's off to a good start already and you can call hindsight 20/20.
I predict that both Deshaun Watson and Jimmy Garoppolo will individually throw more interceptions than Andy Dalton this season.
The thought is that these relatively unproven (7 starts or less) young guys are getting a lot of hype. Sure they set the world on fire but they did throw a lot of picks last season and I think there will continue to be growing pains since opposing teams have more film on them now and they'll have to adjust. I chose Dalton as the comparison since he's been a pretty prototypical "borderline" QB - is he a franchise guy or not? It's meant to show the overhype (for this season, I believe in both guys long term) that these guys have gotten, by saying they will turn the ball over more than a QB who isn't too widely respected as a big time guy.
Josh Gordon released by Browns. Substance abuse issues? Heard he showed up late to practice on Friday (drunk? high?), hamstring injury may not be real. Browns might have released him expecting a failed test. If he doesn't fail a test, where does he land?
Nowhere? I mean the verdict is in on this dude, right? Cleveland is and has been gutter and they gave him more chances than anyone else would have, and even they finally cut him loose. I can’t think of any reason another team would bring him in.
Andy Reid is another that makes sense for redemption if Gordon is legit trying to turn around
Patriots would be Randy Moss 2.0 and they only have 3 WRs on the team 4 if you count suspended Edelman
Randy Moss = Josh Gordon
Donte Stallworth = Phillip Dorsett/Cordarelle Patterson
Wes Welker = Julian Edelman
I’m only suggesting what I think teams should do with Gordon, not what they will. Likely some team will give him a chance but I think it’s a waste of time at best.
He comes back after barely playing football for the last 3 seasons and has already fucked up again after week 1?!? And this is when there’s some actual hype and excitement for the Browns finally? Whatever. If I had an NFL team I would want football players on it. Not people who can play but don’t or won’t, for whatever reason. Call me crazy.
can we get a mahomas in dallas please
shit i'll take fitzpatrick

Right! Because Romo does the Corona commercials now! And...he’s umm...you’re saying that...
I still don’t get it.
Anyway, I can’t believe that holding penalty they just called against GB that negated the Graham TD. Such bullshit. I don’t understand how someone can reach the highest possible level at their profession and still be as bad at it as some of these NFL refs. They’re a fucking disgrace.
Mahomes is a fucjing god
I think he’s actually a demigod.
Packers/Vikings is off the hook.
