Honestly though, I think I did learn about Gandhi before this happened or around the time, I simply forgot due to my history teacher not doing a full lesson. I tend to forget alot of names of famous people; so its also a good thought that I just wasen't paying attention.
I was a slacker and always will be, atleast in school haha
