I've been watching this game and I hate the Broncos (and would love to see a Cincy win) but come on dude. Maybe the Bengals D should....oh I don't know, not commit blatant penalties? That would be a good start. The fumble call was bang bang and I think it can't really be overturned either way.
His knee was down, the Bronco's "catch" that continued their drive on 3rd down was not a catch as it clearly hit the ground (even the announcers couldn't believe it, but then again they couldn't believe the calls last week at Pitt either). Every third down that we stopped them there was a bullshit penalty. On their first drive they called roughing the passer on a clean hit that happened immediately after he released the ball. Then there was another situation where they were going to punt that they called a defensive penalty, replay showed literally nothing wrong. That's five things right off the top of my head that happened in critical situations that either continued their drives on what should have been a punt or gave them the ball when it should have been ours.
One or two missed calls in a game are understandable. At least FIVE awful calls in crucial situations in one HALF all going against one team? Inexcusable. I'm starting to think more and more that the NFL is rigged. Thank God for college football.
Also, a preemptive "fuck you" to KB for when he posts about how the refs aren't making an impact or whatever dumb thing he'll say.
Idk I thought it was a fumble. Refs have been pretty fair. If you are talking about the personal foul after the false start that's because the play was dead......
The play was allegedly dead and yet everyone was acting like it wasn't on both sides of the ball. I know I never heard a whistle or saw a flag. So far the second half hasn't been badly officiated aside from one call. Damage has already been done though when you give them 16 points in the first half.
